These laps are preferred for polishing some of the harder gems such as corundum and cubic zirconia.

The new polishing disc needs to add water and use 60-80# sandpaper, polish from the outer edge to the inside, until no scratches are seen, and then polish it with 240# sandpaper, and the same processing procedure after the old disc is repaired. The polishing powder should be moistened with diamond oil to form a paste, and continue polishing on 50-150# sandpaper. The disc needs to maintain a certain humidity.
