Maximize your productivity with our Diamond Concave Carving Grinding Wheel, designed for smooth and precise carving and grinding. The concave shape provides greater access to tight spaces, making it ideal for detailed work and intricate designs.

The Diamond Concave Engraving Wheel is a highly versatile tool that is designed to help you achieve precision results in your lapidary, glass, woodturning, and leather working projects. With a 1" arbor, this wheel comes with bushings that allow you to adapt it to 1/2, 5/8, or 3/4 inch shafts, making it easy to use with a variety of different tools.

Diamond Concave Engraving Wheel,Diamond Nickel Bonded Concave Wheel,Diamond Profile GrindingWheels and Diamond Arc Grinding Wheel are perfect for rounding edges. What they excel at however is making small beads by hand and without any machines when you want making bead in home. The process is quite easy. First, block out your bead to the required size and pre-drill the bead hole. Our concave diamond wheels are designed with a curved surface which provides an excellent way to carve and grind concave forms into glass and stone. The rounded concave design allows high visibility grinding at the point of contact. We have a variety of different grits available in 4", 6" and 8" diameter wheels,Arbor is 1" and comes with bushings to adapt to 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4 inch shafts. You then round the bead as well as you can on a normal grinding wheels to remove the square edges. After this hold the roughly rounded bead using a pin vice and grind one side of the bead using the concave wheels. When you are happy with the shape, reverse the pin vice and grind the other side. If you are using the coarse grit concave wheels to do the grinding you may need to use a finer grit concave wheels  to remove some of the scratches. The easiest way to get to a finished high polish is to then use a rock tumbler and go through the normal process of tumbling.

FAQ

Q: What is a Diamond Concave Grinding Wheel?
A Diamond Concave Grinding Wheel is a specialized grinding tool designed for shaping and grinding concave surfaces on various materials, such as stone, concrete, ceramics, and glass. It features a concave shape, allowing for precise and efficient grinding in convex areas.
Q: What are the key features of a Diamond Concave Grinding Wheel?
Key features of these grinding wheels include: Concave shape: Designed to fit onto convex surfaces for effective grinding and shaping. Diamond abrasive: Utilizes diamond particles for efficient material removal and long-lasting performance. Compatibility: Suitable for use on a variety of materials, including stone, concrete, ceramics, and glass. Precision: Enables precise shaping and detailing of curved surfaces, making it ideal for carving and sculpting applications.
Q: How does a Diamond Concave Grinding Wheel work?
The grinding wheel utilizes diamond abrasive particles embedded in a matrix material to grind and shape the surface of the material. The concave shape of the wheel enables it to access and grind convex surfaces, such as bowls, sculptures, and other curved structures, with accuracy and control.
Q: What material is used in diamond grinding wheel?
What material is used in diamond grinding wheel? Abrasive grains of the diamond wheel are of two types: natural diamond (D) and synthetic diamond, which is often used in industrial applications. "Synthetic diamond (SD)" and "metal coated composite diamond (SDC)" are used for the grinding wheel.
